About the Department

Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It hosts teams working with various government initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNii, and PMG.

We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist  with 8-10 years of proven success in recruiting and hiring top talent across various functions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of recruitment strategies, sourcing techniques, and talent assessment methodologies. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate with stakeholders to drive recruitment initiatives aligned with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract, assess, and hire qualified candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and priorities.
  • Source candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals.
  • Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications and fit for the organization.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to offer negotiation and onboarding.
  • Build strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Utilize HRIS and other recruitment tools to track and report on recruitment metrics and KPIs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Partner with HR team members on initiatives related to employee retention, engagement, and development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role with 8-10 years in recruitment.
  • Solid understanding of recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other HR software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
