The agency serves as the first point of contact for investors exploring India as a business destination. Invest India is responsible for numerous key government initiatives including Startup India, AGNIi, One District One Product, Project Monitoring Group, and Waste to Wealth among others.
Job Summary
The Associate/Assistant Manager in the Marketing Team of the Startup India Initiative will be responsible for designing and implementing marketing strategies to enhance the visibility and outreach of the program. The candidate will create impactful campaigns, manage digital platforms, and collaborate with stakeholders to promote entrepreneurial initiatives, attract talent, and engage with the startup ecosystem
Key Responsibilities
The Candidate is expected to the following:
Strategic Planning and Execution
- Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns to promote Startup India programs, events, and success stories.
- Plan and manage outreach initiatives to engage startups, investors, corporates, and other ecosystem players.
Digital Marketing and Content Management
- Oversee digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
- Manage the content calendar and generate engaging content for social media, blogs, newsletters, and websites.
- Track and analyze digital marketing performance and generate insights to optimize future campaigns.
Event Marketing
- Support marketing efforts for Startup India-hosted events such as hackathons, conferences, and workshops.
- Coordinate with event management teams to ensure seamless execution and branding.
Stakeholder Engagement & Vendor Management
- Collaborate with ecosystem partners to co-create marketing campaigns.
- Work closely with startups to highlight their success stories and innovations.
- Work closely with the onboarded vendors to ensure quality deliverables.
Brand Management
- Ensure consistency in branding across all platforms and communication materials.
- Develop marketing collaterals such as brochures, presentations, and promotional videos.
Market Research and Trend Analysis
- Conduct research on market trends, competitors, and audience preferences to refine marketing strategies.
- Analyze feedback from campaigns to recommend improvements.
Design
- Digital knowledge to edit and design creatives.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master’s degree (MBA in Marketing/Communications) preferred but not mandatory.
• 1-4 years of experience in marketing, preferably in startups, government initiatives, or corporate environments.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and content management systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn).
• Creative thinking and ability to develop innovative marketing strategies.
• Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret marketing data.
