PIO Investor Helpdesk
In line with the vision of the honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi to encourage investments from overseas Indians, the PIO Investor Helpdesk, launched by Shri Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce & Industry, Textiles, Consumer Affairs and Food and Public Distribution, aims to streamline, and foster economic engagement with the Indian Diaspora.
The Indian diaspora has played a crucial role in promoting cultural exchange and making significant contributions globally. We acknowledge the invaluable contributions made by the Indian diaspora in various domains, including business and entrepreneurship. Recognizing the immense potential of this dynamic community, we firmly believe that collaborating with the Indian Diaspora will be instrumental in leveraging their expertise, networks, and resources, thereby unlocking new avenues for trade and investment cooperation.
Under the aegis of DPIIT, Invest India has established a dedicated desk to guide these investors, simplifying their trade and investment journey and ensuring a seamless process at every stage. This dedicated desk acts as a central point for addressing the specific needs and queries of the Indian Diaspora community interested in trade and investment in India. This initiative demonstrates our commitment to resolving issues and providing personalized support and facilitation services to Indian diaspora.
