The Invest India States team visited Bihar to discuss past engagements and the support that Invest India can provide going forward. The team met with Sandeep Poundrik, Principal Secretary, Industries, Santosh Kumar Sinha, Executive Director, Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA), and the BIADA land bank team. The team also visited Hajipur Industrial Area and Patliputra Industrial Area as part of the visit.

The team further organized a virtual meeting between the Principal Secretary, Bihar, and the Invest India sector teams, including agriculture, information technology (IT), textile, and food processing.

As a way forward, the team will collaborate with the State on an Investor Summit to be organized in Mumbai and support investment promotion in the following sectors: food processing, IT and electronics, and textiles.
