Project Monitoring Group (PMG) has been regularly conducting review meetings to get definite timelines for resolving issues pertaining to mega infrastructure projects, which are pending with different State Governments and Central Ministries. These review meetings are attended by central ministry officials, senior officials from the concerned state government, district collectors and project proponents. Open issues in projects spanning major sectors, including railways, roads and highways, oil and gas, coal, mines, metro, power, renewable energy, and cement, are discussed at length in these meetings. PMG conducted eight state review meetings and 1 PMG sub-group review meeting. Officials from Cabinet Secretariat were also present and provided valuable feedback and input.
- Uttar Pradesh Review Meeting was chaired by Amrit Lal Meena, Special Secretary, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Government of India. 42 issues in 21 projects, having a total investment value of INR 2.09 lakh crores, were discussed. As a result of this review, three issues across three projects were resolved. Further, clear timelines were given by the state government officials for the resolution of the open issues.

West Bengal Review Meeting was chaired by Amrit Lal Meena, Special Secretary, DPIIT, Government of India. 81 issues in 24 projects, having a total investment value of INR 1.28 lakh crores, were discussed. As a result of this review, 17 issues across nine projects were resolved.

Chhattisgarh Review Meeting was chaired by Amrit Lal Meena, Special Secretary, DPIIT, Government of India. 36 issues in 12 projects, having a total investment value of INR 97,341.06 crores, were discussed. As a result of this review, two issues across two projects were resolved. Further, clear timelines were given by the state government officials to resolve the open issues.
- Odisha Review Meeting was chaired by Amrit Lal Meena, Special Secretary, DPIIT, Government of India. 92 issues in 33 projects, having a total investment value of INR 1.26 lakh crores, were discussed. As a result of this review, 18 issues across 12 projects were resolved. Further, clear timelines were given by the state government officials for the resolution of the open issues.
- Goa, Kerala, Puducherry Review Meeting was chaired by Amrit Lal Meena, Special Secretary, DPIIT, Government of India. 17 issues in 9 projects, having a total investment value of INR 34,963.37 crores, were discussed. As a result of this review, four issues across two projects were resolved.
- Gujarat Review Meeting was chaired by Amrit Lal Meena, Special Secretary, DPIIT, Government of India. 89 issues in 43 projects, having a total investment value of INR 4.04 lakh crores, were discussed. As a result of this review, 23 issues across 16 projects were resolved. Further, clear timelines were given by the state government officials for the resolution of the open issues.
- PMG Sub-Group Review Meeting with Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Communications was chaired by Amrit Lal Meena, Special Secretary, DPIIT, Government of India. 22 issues in 17 projects, having a total investment value of INR 1.60 lakh crores, were discussed. As a result of this review, two issues across two projects were resolved.
- Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Manipur Review Meeting was chaired by Amrit Lal Meena, Special Secretary, DPIIT, Government of India. 63 issues in 15 projects, having a total investment value of INR 72,146.82 crores, were discussed. As a result of this review, two issues across two projects were resolved.
- Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, and Tripura Review Meeting as chaired by Amrit Lal Meena, Special Secretary, DPIIT, Government of India. 71 issues in 20 projects, having a total investment value of INR 87,326.86 crores, were discussed. As a result of this review, five issues across five projects were resolved.
- Milestone Sessions: PMG organised one-to-one milestone sessions for the Ministry of Power, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Ministry of Coal, Ministry of Railways, and Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, to provide an overview to ministries on the milestone data entered by them. Further, concerns and questions about entering and updating milestones information were also addressed during these sessions.
