Toy Industry Roundtable Interaction
The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) and the Consumer Goods team at Invest India, in collaboration with the Toy Association of India, organized a roundtable interaction on ‘Exploring the India Toy Story’. Chaired by Secretary DPIIT, Mr. Rajesh Kumar Singh, the event saw participation from major global giants such as Hasbro, Spin Master, Hamleys, Simba Toys, Lego and domestic manufacturers such as Micro Plastics, Aequs, Funskool, Dream-Plast, Playgro and Sunlord among others, leading the manufacturing revolution. The event catalysed strategic discussions among participating global and domestic toy companies towards bolstering their India investment plans.
Madhya Pradesh Toy Industry Roundtable
The Consumer Goods team and the Madhya Pradesh State team at Invest India collaborated with the Government of Madhya Pradesh and the Toy Association of India to organise a roundtable interaction on 'The MP Toys Opportunity'.
The event was chaired by Mr. O. P Sakhlecha, Minister of MSME and Science &Technology, Government of Madhya Pradesh, and witnessed participation from major domestic toy manufacturers like Aequs, Playgro, and Sunlord. Invest India delivered a comprehensive presentation on the immense potential and opportunities in the Toy sector, while the Government of Madhya Pradesh highlighted specific details about the state's favorable conditions for toy manufacturing. Various companies expressed interest in establishing greenfield toy manufacturing facilities in Madhya Pradesh.
