Podcast Episode 4: Your Single Window to Heal in India

Introduction

My New India Story today is about the “Invest India’s Heal in India Single Window Platform – One Shop Stop for Healthcare-related Services in India” This is going to bring different stakeholders such as Patients, Hospitals, Doctors, and Medical Agents into one platform, lists all the packages for both modern and Indian traditional medicine and will be a one-stop shop for facilitating any patient and their attendant travelling to India for medical services.

Invest India is supporting the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare to launch a Heal in India portal, a single window platform for people across the world, wherein they can identify hospitals and procedures, and view the transparent pricing. The portal will facilitate the end-to-end patient journey including quality monitoring and grievance redressal. 

In addition to the Portal, Invest India is also supporting the Ministry of Health in identifying target countries, states, cities, hospitals and airports in carving the promotional strategies and modalities to position India as the #1 destination of medical and wellness tourism globally.

The “Heal in India” initiative also aims to provide impetus to the growth of medical value travel in India by promoting India’s competitive strengths in terms of world-class care and treatment, a wide network of medical infrastructure, the largest pool of health professionals across the spectrum of modern and traditional medicine, and unique offerings of Ayush.
