Invest India met with senior officials from the Industries & Commerce Department in Agartala to discuss building the pipeline of projects and investor targeting through the India Investment Grid (IIG) portal. The meeting focused on creating a pipeline of investible opportunities under the National Infrastructure Pipeline (NIP) as well as other opportunities such as non-NIP projects, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Stressed Assets and on leveraging the IIG portal for project updating and promoting projects in Tripura to global investors. The meeting was also attended by the Rubber Board, Tripura Industries Development Corporation, Tripura Forest Development, Plantation Corporation, The Bamboo Mission, and Tripura Rehabilitation Plantation Corporation. The Invest India team further collaborated with the Government of Tripura and Indian Chamber of Commerce to organize roadshows to showcase opportunities in Tripura, which were attended by 100+ potential investors. Invest India made presentations on how investors can utilize the IIG portal to identify opportunities in the state and connect directly with states.
