Embassy of India in Seoul partnered with Invest India and Korea Federation of Textile Industries (KOFOTI), the largest Korean textiles association, to organise a webinar on opportunities in the textiles sector in India. The webinar focused on showcasing the strengths of the Indian textile industry with a focus on Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (MITRA) and Production Linked Incentive (PLI) schemes to garner interest from the Korean textile companies. The webinar also included detailed presentations by senior officials from the Ministry of Textiles. An overview of Indian textile products was provided by Dr. Siddhartha Rajagopal, Executive Director, The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council (TEXPROCIL), India's textile export promotion council.
