Project Monitoring Group (PMG) held a meeting on October 12 under the Chairpersonship of Sumita Dawra, Additional Secretary, DPIIT, Government of India, co-chaired by the Dr. Harshdeep Kamble, Development Commissioner, Industries Department, Maharashtra to resolve issues in mega infrastructure projects spanning roads and highways, railways, and real estate sectors having an investment value of INR 2.81 Lakh Crores. As a result, 59 issues arising out of 13 projects were discussed, and six were resolved. Senior officials from multiple ministries attended the meeting, various departments of the Government of Maharashtra, district collectors, and project proponents.
