1. Signing of Extension of MoU between Invest India and ESG 

The event showcased the signing of an extension of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Invest India and Enterprise Singapore (ESG). The event started with welcome remarks by Deepak Bagla, Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Invest India, followed by remarks by Tan Soon Kim, Acting Chief Executive Officer (ACEO). There was also a discussion on the past engagements and proposed work plans and a discussion on new potential areas of collaboration.  

The signing was joined by Tan Soon Kim, ACEO; Audrey Tan, Director, South Asia; Sabrina Ho, Regional Director – North India and Bangladesh; Denise Tan, Regional Director – North India; Amita Mehta, Business Director – North India and Ms Shuchi Singh, Business Development Manager – Delhi from ESG and Deepak Bagla, MD and CEO, Priya Rawat, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Sai Sudha Chandrasekaran, Senior Assistant Vice President, Regional Head, Yashika Khurana, Assistant Vice President (AVP) and Rimjhim Sharma, Manager from Invest India. 

2. Thailand Ambassador Visit to Assam and Meghalaya for Sectoral Opportunity Exploration 

In coordination with Invest India, the Embassy of Thailand had planned a courtesy visit to state Chief Ministers of Assam and Meghalaya, along with events and meetings scheduled with the Commerce and Industry Minister and Departments and sectoral heads of the states.  

The Ambassador and her delegation convened meetings with a sectoral representative from both states of Assam and Meghalaya and a representative from the North East Council (NEC) during the visit to deliberate on economic, social, and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
