- OBJECTIVE
- The scheme aims to encourage the prospective entrepreneurs, unemployed youths/SC & ST/BPL class in gaining training to help them set up their own units in Handmade Paper & Fiber sector.
- Optimal utilization of local agro-based raw materials and other waste materials like cotton rags/hosiery for production of paper and fiber products.
- Support current Hand paper & Fiber units to increase their production and marketing capabilities.

- TYPE OF ASSISTANCE
- A 6-day training would be given to groups of at least 10 candidates per group in Paper Conversions where artisans would be trained in manufacturing file covers, paper bags, photo frame etc.; 6 days training would be given in manufacturing Paper Plate & Dona Making, 12 days training would be given in Paper Mache.
- Assistance would be given to the trained artisans with machinery & tool kits containing file master, paper cutter, Pulper machines.
- A 6-day training would be given to groups of at least 10 candidates per group in Paper Conversions where artisans would be trained in manufacturing file covers, paper bags, photo frame etc.; 6 days training would be given in manufacturing Paper Plate & Dona Making, 12 days training would be given in Paper Mache.
