- OBJECTIVE
- The scheme aims to employ the locally available raw materials/resources and transform them into value added products and to provide skill development programs with modern technologies in production of various agro based food products.

- Impart the advanced skills to select artisans for product diversification, packaging etc. and provide them with the sustained income.

- TYPE OF ASSISTANCE
- Under the scheme, 6-day training on Palm Gur, Tamarind, Fruits & Vegetables, Village Oil, Spices & Condiments, Cane & Bamboo would be given to groups of at least 10 artisans(each).
- Machinery and toolkits would be distributed among trained artisans for assistance.

- SCHEME APPLICABLE FOR
- Any person between the age of 18 to 55 years is eligible for this scheme.
- Any person belonging to SCs/STs/Women/ Unemployed Youth /BPL category etc. would be given preference.
