About the Department
Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department of Promotion for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It hosts teams working with various government initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNii, and PMG.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and strategize brand positioning of the state in line with the vision and mission – scanning the environment
- Developing brand strategies, promoting brand growth and expansion, implementing brand plans
- Devise effective social media campaigns, design creatives, develop contents and promos
- Design, build and maintain social media presence
- Lead creative development to attract the target audiences
- Oversee new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities
- Organize leadership series, roundtable in Delhi with niche audience
- Nurturing partnerships and relationships for promoting Brand Meghalaya
Qualifications
- Masters/Management degree from a premier institute, preferably with experience in branding /marketing/communications
- Proven working experience as Associate Brand Manager desired
- Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind
- Up to date with latest trends and marketing best practices
- Highly motivated, multitasking, flexible to achieve task in hand
- Excellent Communication, People and Analytical skills are a must for the role.
- Prior understanding on administrative set-up at a state and business ecosystem would be preferable.
- Expertise with Microsoft Excel, MS Word, Power-Point and Strong Presentation Skills
- Candidate with linguistic and cultural familiarity shall be preferred
- Language proficiency: Hindi, English, regional Indian language (preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience preferred
