About the Department
Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It hosts teams working with various government initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNii, and PMG.
The Branding Specialist will lead the branding and marketing strategy for the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative, focusing on enhancing the visibility and market positioning of district-centric products. This role involves developing and implementing innovative branding campaigns and collaborating with key stakeholders to promote ODOP products effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Branding Strategy Development: Develop and implement branding strategies to enhance the visibility and market positioning of ODOP products.
- Brand Identity Creation: Create a strong brand identity for ODOP products, including logos, packaging, and brand messaging, that reflects the uniqueness and quality of the products.
- Marketing Campaigns: Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote ODOP products across various channels, including digital, print, and social media.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including producers, government authorities, and marketing agencies, to ensure alignment and support for branding initiatives.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, preferences, and competitors' strategies to inform branding and marketing strategies.
- Brand Awareness: Increase awareness of ODOP products and the initiative's objectives through effective branding and marketing campaigns.
- Market Differentiation: Differentiate ODOP products in the market by highlighting their unique features, craftsmanship, and cultural significance.
- Consumer Engagement: Engage with consumers through interactive and engaging branding campaigns to build brand loyalty and drive sales.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Professional with 4 - 6 years of experience in branding, preferably in a managerial role, with a track record of developing successful branding campaigns.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a results-oriented approach to branding strategies.
- Experience working with MSMEs is a plus.
