About the Department
Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It hosts teams working with various government initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNii, and PMG.
The Data Analyst will support the branding and marketing strategy for the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative by interpreting data to provide insights that enhance the visibility and market positioning of district-centric products. This role involves collecting and interpreting data, generating reports, and assisting in the development of data-driven strategies to promote ODOP products effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and organize data related to ODOP products, including sales figures, market trends, and consumer feedback. Analyze this data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can inform branding and marketing strategies, and provide actionable recommendation.
- Support Branding Strategy: Assist the team by providing data-driven insights to help develop and refine branding strategies and marketing campaigns.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, preferences, and competitors' strategies to inform branding and marketing strategies.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and support the implementation of data-driven strategies.
- Project Management: Manage specific projects within the ODOP initiative, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Sales Monitoring: Monitor sales performance and analyze data to optimize product placement and promotional strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in data science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
- 0-1 year of experience in data analysis or a related field, with an eagerness to apply data-driven insights to support branding and marketing strategies.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R) and basic understanding of data visualization techniques.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a results-oriented approach to branding strategies.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
