About the Department

 

Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It hosts teams working with various government initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNii, and PMG.

As an junior specialist, you will support the team's efforts to facilitate investments in the automotive industry. You will play a pivotal role in achieving sector-specific goals and the overall success of the automotive sector within the organization. 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Support Managers and team lead to attract investments from domestic and international automotive companies. Work with assigned investors to understand their needs, address concerns, and facilitate a seamless investment process.
  • Organize and support investor engagement initiatives, including roundtables, roadshows, meetings, and webinars, to showcase investment opportunities and facilitate networking.
  • Analyze regulations, policies, and market dynamics to provide informed insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Prepare industry reports, blog entries, web pages, pitch presentations, corporate profiles, and sector overviews.

Qualifications

 

  • Master’s degree in automotive engineering, business administration, economics, or a related field. A combination of a bachelor's degree in engineering and an MBA is preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a consulting firm, developmental agency, investment bank, investment promotion agency, or global corporation within the automotive sector.
  • Experience in crafting strategic documents, analyzing policies, creating research reports, managing stakeholders, and driving business development.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, strong interpersonal and relationship management abilities.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for domestic and international engagements, industry events, and investor meetings.
