The Waste to Wealth Mission spearheaded by the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser (PSA), Government of India launched the ‘Swachhta Saarthi Fellowship’ aiming to recognize students, community workers/self-help groups, and municipal/sanitary workers who are engaged in tackling the enormous challenge of waste management, scientifically and sustainably. After the overwhelming response received, 403 fellows have been selected from across 33 states in India for a period of one year subject to verification of documents.
