About the Department

Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It hosts teams working with various government initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNii, and PMG.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Front Desk Management:

    • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.

    • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls, taking messages when necessary.

    • Handle general inquiries and direct them to the appropriate team members.

  2. Meeting Room and Calendar Management:

    • Book meeting rooms and conference rooms based on requests.

    • Maintain and update the meeting room and conference room calendars.

    • Ensure rooms are prepared and organized before scheduled meetings.

  3. Coordination and Communication:

    • Coordinate with teams for meeting arrangements and requirements.

    • Liaise with local authorities (CISF, MHA, CPWD) to facilitate entry passes, car passes, and delegate passes.

    • Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders and delegates visiting the office.

  4. Office Administration and Cleanliness:

    • Oversee office functioning and cleanliness, ensuring a professional and hygienic environment.

    • Monitor and manage the housekeeping staff to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.

  5. Security Oversight:

    • Supervise the security guards to ensure that security protocols are followed.

    • Manage visitor logs, goods received, and sent logs while ensuring compliance with company guidelines.

  6. General Administrative Support:

    • Assist in day-to-day administrative tasks as required.

    • Maintain records, logs, and other documentation as needed for office operations.

Qualifications

 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from a reputed University.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a receptionist or front office role.

  • Skills:

    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and calendar management tools.

    • Professional demeanor and appearance.

    • Ability to coordinate with diverse teams and external authorities.
